St Thomas' pilgrim community

Values
Prayer and a contemplative walk of faith
Companionship in the adventure of seeking God
Acceptance, hospitality & loving service
Come and meet us, eat, study scripture and pray with us at our
Community Prayer Meetings:
3rd Monday of a month, 7-9 pm
( 22nd January 2018)

The Community Prayer
Holy Spirit, be present with us.
Guide our hearts and minds,
our praying and searching,
our listening and speaking,
as we long to be part of a community,
that is rooted in your love.
May it help us to deepen
our relationship with you,
our relationship with one another
and with the wider world,
that your will be done
and your kingdom come. Amen.

From Revd Jutta Brueck
'The first person moved into the Vicarage in June 2016, supported by a group of non-residential members. This is suitable for anyone who would like to share a house with other Christians and join in a rhythm of prayer, study and community with a view to serving God’s mission in Ipswich. The initial commitment would be for a year, though we hope some people will may stay longer. The rhythm of life for the community will be developed to suit the circumstances of community members.

Whilst we hope the community will make a contribution to NW Ipswich it is envisaged as a resource for the deanery and wider Church.'

Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
