Latitude

Thank you for praying for Latitude 2016

The Latitude Festival ran from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July at Henham Park, near Blythburgh.  Town Pastors from the various schemes in Suffolk and beyond were on site as Festival Pastors.

Thank you to those of you who prayed for this event.

You can get some idea of what it was like, and answered prayer, from this message,  sent from one of the Festival Pastors, Paul Laughlin:

'We continue to be amazed by what God is doing here.  As I write (around midday) a Gospel choir is performing in the Arena.  People have come for prayer, and situations have been resolved. A big AV Hallelujah!

From Portaloos that were delivered without any maintenance programme (they were emptied for the first time yesterday) and dribbling showers to missing people and the steady trickle of prayer requests and prayer with people - it's been fun and exciting.'

Paul has requested continued prayer following the event:
'Please continue to pray for Festival Pastors as we feed back on this year's festival and look forward to next year's:

A team to plan and lead for next year.
A full team of Pastors to cover the patrols and the prayer tent
A team of volunteers (people of goodwill) for the cafe and pray (need to be Christian!)
People on site to pray.
People who will support as prayer warriors and intercessors.
Churches to be positive in support and hold Festival Pastors in their prayers.

Please pray too, for Town Pastors Central, the new separate body that co-ordinates all Town Pastor schemes in Suffolk and Norfolk and has the responsibility for Festival Pastors.  There is a need for people to cover certain roles.  Ask whether it's you.'

Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
